Rajesh Rao as a Vice President leads the JDSU Sales organization in South Asia Pacific. In this role, he leads the sales organization in understanding their needs and serving them by positioning the appropriate solutions from one of the broadest range of test & measurement solutions in the industry. He also leads the Customer Solutions Organisation across Asia Pacific and has oversight for JDSU’s site operations in Singapore, which hosts one of the largest wireless R&D center for the company, and also hosts the regional finance, customer services and order fulfillment team.
Prior to his current position, Rajesh was the GM for Asia Pacific Sales organization at Agilent Technologies, leading their Communications Test & Measurement unit.
Rajesh has over 18 years of experience in direct sales, sales leadership, business development, regional & global professional services and support services. While pre-dominantly working in the telecommunications industry, he also had exposure in the defense and aerospace industries.
His rich experience across various roles includes his hands on style of management bringing teams together, organization design, change management and business transformation.
Rajesh holds a first grade bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Karnatak University, India, and was groomed via a selective Senior Management Program at Agilent.
