Professor Shahram G Niri, is a thought leader and recognized expert in the field of mobile communication technology and has worked for a number of companies such as R&D, operators and manufacturers for the past 20 years. He is currently Director of Global LTE/SAE Strategy & Solution in NEC Europe and a Visiting Professor at the University of Surrey in UK. He has been an advisor and also provided consultancy to a wide range of clients such as network operators, blue chip manufacturer, regulatory bodies and R&D sectors. He holds several patents in mobile communications and has published over 50 technical papers and articles in this field in refereed international journals and conferences as well as in magazines.
