Dave is responsible for guiding Stoke’s technology direction and long-term business development strategy with top tier mobile broadband carriers worldwide and also directs Stoke’s participation in telecoms and technology standards bodies. He joined Stoke from Comcast, the world’s largest cable operator, where he was Senior Vice President of Wireless Technology. Prior to Comcast, Williams was CTO at O2 Telefonica Europe from 2003 to 2008 and previously with Cingular as Vice President, Strategic Planning. Before Cingular, Williams held roles with SBC, Orange and Vodafone.  He has served on the boards of industry associations including the Femto Forum, the Wimax Forum and the GSM Association. He holds a Bachelors Degree from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
